Intro - Marketplace for Renting Anything

Evolving an MVP toward a more usable, enjoyable product

Brought in to improve Keenee’s MVP, our team worked quickly under tight constraints to enhance the app’s UX and visual design. In Phase 1, we delivered immediate value by refining key workflows and polishing the interface.

At the same time, I explored a more ambitious Phase 2 redesign—envisioning what a scalable, long-term experience could look like.

  • Add new mobile features

  • Introduce new web app

Business Goals

User Group - Peers

Everyday individuals participating in the local sharing economy

Peers are the primary renters on the platform. Low-tech, lower- to middle-income individuals and families looking for affordable access to goods and services.

Some also contribute their own listings, becoming part of the peer-to-peer network that helped grow Keenee’s grassroots presence.

Pure Renters

  • Locals looking to save

  • Travelers looking for new experiences

Occasional Lenders

  • The heart of the platform

  • Looking to grow income

  • Repurpose current items

User Group - Vendors

Small businesses offering listings to grow their local presence

Vendors typically act as suppliers on the platform, using Keenee to list inventory or services without renting themselves.

For them, Keenee represented a new, community-driven channel to reach customers. While ultimately becoming a new way to manage their in-store bookings and inventory.

Small Vendors

  • Minimal listings but operate as a business

  • Typically service based

Large Vendors

  • Over 25 listings each with multiple options

  • Usually well established
